世界创新大会概况

世界创新大会（World Innovation Congress, WIC）是为贯彻习近平总书记关于创新发展重要论述和重要指示精神搭建的国际创新合作平台。自2017年成立以来，大会始终以“服务国家创新发展、促进国际创新合作，让创新更好地造福人类”为宗旨，秉持“创新、开放、合作、共享”的核心精神，坚持公益性为主和长期主义的根本原则，通过国际化、市场化、专业化的运作机制，致力于构建立足中国、面向全球的创新生态枢纽，打造具有广泛影响力的国际标杆盛会，为政府、企业、科研机构及国际组织提供深度交流与战略合作的桥梁。

九年来，WIC在中国政府的支持以及全球合作伙伴的持续参与下，已成功举办八届全球年会及系列国际会议，汇聚300余位全球权威嘉宾发表前沿演讲，累计吸引100多个国家和地区超过12000名嘉宾参会，包括政府高层、国际组织代表、顶尖科学家、知名企业家和杰出青年学者。已推动数十项重大科技创新成果实现转化与应用，促成多项跨国产业合作与经贸投资签约，取得了丰硕的成果，国内国际影响力不断增强。

目前，WIC已与全球100多个国家、地区及国际组织建立合作关系，与200余家跨国企业、创新型领军企业和科研机构达成战略合作，汇聚300多位全球专家资源，构建起集国际会议、智库研究、产业对接、成果转化和创新评价于一体的全方位创新服务体系，为全球创新参与者提供从思想碰撞到项目落地的全链条、高价值支持。WIC发起的“世界创新大奖”“世界创新企业500强榜单”和“全球城市创新竞争力100强榜单”等国际评价体系，已成为全球创新领域具有重要影响的指标。

WIC每年在粤港澳大湾区举办全球年会，并同期举办十大重点领域行业峰会及创新成果展示，涵盖科技、经济、人工智能、生命科学、农业、教育、汽车、能源、资本、文化等领域。未来，WIC将持续推进全球化战略布局，定期在美国硅谷、瑞士日内瓦、新加坡、沙特利雅得、肯尼亚内罗毕等国际创新枢纽城市举办区域峰会及行业论坛，深入开展国际经贸对接、投融资合作、创新公益讲堂和青年领袖交流等活动，并在非洲、拉美等地实施“科技与社会创新援助计划”，以创新方案应对粮食安全、绿色发展等全球共性挑战。

2026年，世界创新大会将迎来成立十周年的重要里程碑。世界创新大会致力于携手各国创新力量，汇聚全球领袖智慧，凝聚国际创新共识，共同探索创新路径，深化国际创新合作，推动构建全球创新共同体，让创新成果更好地造福人类。

Overview of the World Innovation Congress

The World Innovation Congress (WIC) is an international platform committed to advancing global cooperation in innovation, with the goal of ensuring that innovation better serves humanity. Founded in 2017, WIC has since embraced the spirit of innovation, openness, cooperation, and shared benefit. Through mechanisms that are international in outreach, market-oriented in design, and professional in execution, WIC has sought to position itself as an innovation hub rooted in China yet oriented to the world. Its ambition has always been to build a global benchmark event of substantial impact: one that provides a bridge for deep exchange and strategic collaboration among governments, enterprises, research institutions, and international organizations.

Over the past nine years, with steady support from the Chinese government and sustained participation from global partners, WIC has successfully convened eight global annual meetings together with a series of international gatherings. In this time, more than 300 authoritative voices from around the world have delivered cutting-edge addresses. Delegates have come from over 120 countries and regions, amounting to more than 12,000 participants, including government leaders, representatives of international organizations, leading scientists, renowned entrepreneurs, and outstanding young scholars. WIC has already facilitated the translation of dozens of major scientific and technological innovations into real-world application. It has catalyzed cross-border industry cooperation and agreements in trade and investment. These concrete achievements have steadily magnified WIC’s influence both inside China and globally.

Today, WIC maintains cooperative ties with over 100 countries, regions, and international organizations, and has established strategic partnerships with more than 200 multinational corporations, leading enterprises in innovation, and top research institutions. Its growing network of over 300 global experts anchors a full-spectrum innovation service system that combines international conferences, policy research, industry matchmaking, commercialization of breakthroughs, and innovation evaluation. From intellectual exchange to project landing, WIC provides a high-value, end-to-end pipeline of support. Initiatives such as the World Innovation Prize, Top World Innovative 500 Enterprises, and the Global Global Top 100 Cities Innovation Competitiveness Ranking are now widely recognized reference points in assessing innovation performance worldwide.

Each year, WIC convenes its Global Annual Conference in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, accompanied by ten sectoral summits and an exhibition of innovation achievements covering technology, economy, artificial intelligence, life sciences, agriculture, education, automotive, energy, capital, and culture. Looking forward, WIC will advance its strategy of global expansion by hosting regional summits and industry forums in international innovation hubs such as Silicon Valley (USA), Geneva (Switzerland), Singapore, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Nairobi (Kenya). It will continue to promote international trade linkages, investment cooperation, public innovation education, and youth leadership exchanges. It will implement social innovation and technology assistance programs in Africa and Latin America—targeted at food security, sustainable growth, and other shared global challenges—so that innovation outcomes directly address the pressing concerns of humanity.
